Argentine forward Mauro Icardi (29) has been signed by French PSG.
The new coach of the Paris club, Christophe Galtier, said today that he spoke with Icardi and that he personally told him that he no longer counts on his services.
“I saw Mauro earlier this week. Last week he was not there for tactical reasons. I told him that I wanted to reduce the squad and that I no longer needed 25 players. The club is working on the best solution for him,” Galtier said and continued:
“He has played a little bit in previous years and I believe it is best for him to wake up. “All is not lost, and a change of environment can put his career back on track,” the PSG coach believes.
Instead of Mauro Icardi, the French champions will hire a new striker.
“We are looking for a new striker. “The club is working hard on that,” said Galtier.
