If the deal with Potter were to be concluded successfully then it would surely be the biggest achievement for the coach as he has never managed an elite club before.
On the other hand, a much-quoted option is Mauricio Pochettino out of a job after his adventure with PSG. The Argentine has previously been approached to take charge of the Londoners, precisely at the end of 2020, when Lampard was struggling at Stamford Bridge. However, this could be the right time as Pochettino would return to the Premier League after the adventure with Tottenham.
As for Zidane and Terry, the chances are lower. Meanwhile, former Chelsea defender Terry has admitted that he dreams of becoming a coach as he gained experience from his assistant role at Aston Villa.
