The Portuguese has been the subject of intense transfer speculation after expressing his desire to leave the Red Devils in a bid to play in the Champions League.

The 37-year-old missed out on the club’s pre-season tour of Australia and Thailand due to ‘family reasons’ with the superstar striker linked with moves to Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
He made a substitute appearance in his side’s defeat to Brighton on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season, having barely had a pre-season.

Reports now claim that his teammates are becoming increasingly upset with the player’s actions.

According to The Sun, some of his ‘fed-up’ colleagues would prefer him to simply leave and focus more on this season.
He goes on to claim there is growing anger among squad members over Ronaldo’s attitude around the club.

A source said: “It’s already starting to annoy a lot of players. He has his allies in the camp, but many are fed up with the way he is going about things.”

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is looking for a move away from Old Trafford just 12 months after his sensational comeback
A move to a host of clubs has been mooted but, so far, Ronaldo is still on the Man United list as transfer deadline day approaches.

The transfer window closes on September 1, with Ronaldo not thought to be close to joining a new team.

Ronaldo scored 24 goals in all competitions last season as Man United finished sixth in the Premier League.
