An unusual episode occurred at the end of a tennis match at Orleans Challenger. More specifically, at the end of the meeting between Corentin Moutet and Adrian Andreev, the two protagonists caught each other in the net, so much so that it took the referee’s intervention to separate them. They first shook hands as they always do to greet each other, but then they bumped each other’s chests hard and started to push each other.

This clash could have almost degenerated into punches and kicks.

Bulgarian Andreev (247 in the world) won 2-1 in sets, 2-6, 7-6 and 7-6, a result that certainly could not be easily accepted by the French Moutet, who was ranked much higher, 64th.
