There is always a first time for some things, and experienced Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas understood that tonight.
At the beginning of the month came the somewhat shocking news of Fabregas’ move to Serie B side Como.
The Spanish midfielder has strengthened the ranks of the team from Como as a free agent. The 35-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Italians despite receiving more lucrative and bigger offers from around the world.
Tonight, he started the 3rd round match from Serie B Como – Brescia on the bench. At one point, the match was stopped because the electricity went out at the “Giuseppe Sinigaglia” stadium.
It was something Fabregas hadn’t experienced before in his career, but he could have been delighted, as Como fans put on a spectacle using phones and lighters in the stands.
