“Worst Jersey of All Time” – Real Madrid Fans Are Not Happy With The New Home Kit

News

At the height of a season in which Real Madrid was left without a single trophy and the La Liga title was practically lost, given the nine-point gap to Barcelona, some fans were faced with a new disappointment.

Specifically, photos of the alleged home jersey for the 2026/27 season have been circulating on social media and the design has caused an avalanche of negative comments.

Although the base of the jersey remained traditionally white, the Adidas company decided to experiment, which angered fans.

According to the published photos, the three distinctive stripes on the shoulders are expected to be red, while the edges of the collar and sleeves are decorated with dark tones of black and green. It is these details that have become the subject of debate and harsh criticism.

Reaction from fans on social media was almost unanimously negative, with many calling the design one of the worst in the club’s history.

“This is probably the ugliest Real Madrid shirt of all time,” said one commenter, while another was equally harsh: “The ugliest in a long time! That red stripe doesn’t fit at all!”.

Some fans saw similarities in the design to other teams’ jerseys. “Is this the new Benfica jersey?” asked one user, while another concluded: “This could easily be the design for the Mexican national team.”
