5 Million Paycut – Dybala Set to Renew With AS Roma

News

Paulo Dybala’s adventure at Roma is expected to continue, despite the Argentine striker’s current contract expiring on June 30.

There had recently been talk of a possible return of the 32-year-old to Argentina, with Boca Juniors seen as the most likely destination, but such a transfer is not expected to materialize.

According to Italian media, Dybala has decided to stay in the Italian capital and has even accepted a significant salary reduction to continue his collaboration with Roma.

Currently, the Argentine is the highest-paid player on the team with around 8 million euros per season, but the new contract is expected to be two-year and with a salary of around 3 million euros per season.

Dybala’s decision is mainly related to family reasons, as he feels very comfortable in Rome and does not want to return to Argentina at this stage of his career.

Meanwhile, coach Gian Piero Gasperini is working to maintain the core of the squad
