Premier League Club Ready to Spend Millions to Loan Napoli Striker Lorenzo Lucca

News

Premier League side Nottingham Forest have submitted an official offer to loan Napoli striker Lorenzo Lucca until the end of the season, as the club looks to strengthen its attacking options during a challenging campaign.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have agreed to a loan deal worth €1 million, which includes an option to buy the Italian forward for €35 million at the end of the season.

In addition, Nottingham Forest have agreed to cover Lucca’s full salary for the remainder of the campaign, meaning the club’s total January investment in the deal would exceed €2 million.

Lucca has also held talks with several other clubs, including Benfica, Al-Hilal, and his former side Pisa, leaving the 24-year-old with an important decision to make regarding the next step in his career.

Sources indicate that Lucca’s priority remains staying in Serie A, but Nottingham Forest’s proposal is considered highly attractive — particularly due to the opportunity to experience Premier League football.

The final decision now rests with Lucca, who must choose whether to accept the English challenge or wait for another opportunity in Italy.

Pisa are only able to offer a short-term loan until the end of the season, while offers from abroad provide greater financial stability and the chance to compete in one of Europe’s strongest leagues
