Alexandra Leclerc Reveals Why She Chose to Do Her Own Makeup on Her Wedding Day With Charles Leclerc
Influencer Alexandra Leclerc has shared new details from her wedding to Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc.
In a video published on March 5 for Vogue Australia, the 23-year-old explained why she decided to do her own makeup on the day of her wedding.
“I just wanted to look like myself,” Alexandra said. “I didn’t want to wear much more makeup than I usually do or do something completely different from my normal routine, because I wanted to look like myself on my special day. And in 10 years, when I look back at the photos, I don’t want to regret my makeup choices.”
“That’s why I decided to do my makeup myself that day,” she added.
The model revealed that she searched online for inspiration while preparing for the big day.
“I’m very happy with the result. I simply went on Pinterest and collected many photos of people whose looks I liked, put them into a small folder, and practiced on myself many times before the big day,” she explained.
She also shared that many of the videos she used for inspiration came from celebrity makeup artists Nina Park and Mary Phillips.
“I tried to create something that I truly liked,” she added.
Alexandra and Charles, 28, announced their engagement in November 2025 after more than two years together.
The couple tied the knot in an elegant civil ceremony in Monaco on Saturday, February 28. Alexandra later shared a series of photos and videos from the ceremony in an Instagram post on March 1.
