Nottingham Forest enjoyed a rare and incredible moment in their Europa League clash with Porto.
The English team returned to the game thanks to a spectacular own goal, but in a negative sense for the home team, which is hardly seen often in football.
The protagonist of this moment was defender Martim Fernandes, who incredibly sent the ball into his own net from about 40 meters away.
Porto had taken the lead in the 11th minute with a goal from William Gomes, taking control of the match and giving the impression that they would manage the result calmly.
However, just moments later, everything changed. A moment of carelessness from Fernandes proved fatal for the Portuguese side, as his attempted rebound ended up strangely in his own net, giving Nottingham Forest a golden opportunity to get back into the game.
