Real Madrid have turned their attention to young talent Jan Vila from Espanyol, who was initially scouted by Barcelona.
According to “Diario Sport”, the striker born in 2012 has made impressive appearances at the youth levels, scoring 11 goals in 21 matches for Espanyol’s U14 team.
Villa is considered a complete attacking talent, combining speed, strength and technical ability, while he can play in several positions in the attacking department.
Barcelona were the first to identify his potential and are trying to keep him in Catalonia as part of a long-term project.
However, Real Madrid have now stepped in strongly, presenting their own development plan for the player and his family in an attempt to win the competition.
Despite the growing interest, staying at Espanyol remains a real option, as the youngster is carefully considering his future.
