Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has responded to rumours linking him with a move to Serie A giants Juventus and Milan.

Juventus accelerate negotiations for Lewandowski – details of the offer revealed

Barca are planning to offer him a one-year extension with a significant pay cut, while he must also agree to a secondary role in the squad next season.

The 37-year-old is taking his time to evaluate Barca’s proposal and offers from other suitors.

The Catalan giants are planning to sign Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez in the summer, with the deal expected to cost more than €100m. Lewandowski’s departure will free up space in their bloated wage budget.

For Milan and Juve, the Polish striker’s high salary remains a sticking point.
