Reports from Italy suggest that Liverpool are frustrated with Juventus, as the Italian club are trying to secure the services of goalkeeper Alisson Becker at the lowest possible price ahead of the summer transfer window.
Juventus are looking to rebuild their goalkeeping department and have set their sights on the Brazilian, who is well-known to coach Luciano Spalletti from their time at Roma. According to recent reports, Alisson has reportedly given the green light for a move to Turin after the end of the 2025/26 season.
However, Liverpool are not willing to let him go easily. The 33-year-old goalkeeper is under contract until the summer of 2027, after the English club activated a 12-month extension clause.
The Reds have already thought about his replacement, having secured Giorgi Mamardashvili, who transferred from Valencia and joined the team in the summer of 2025.
Liverpool are expected to demand around €15m for Alisson, given his age and the fact that he is entering the final year of his contract. But according to Calciomercato, Juventus are trying to reduce this amount, and in some scenarios even aim to eliminate the transfer fee altogether, which has caused discontent at Anfield.
If negotiations for Alisson fail, Juventus could turn their attention to a more economical alternative such as David De Gea, currently at Fiorentina and former Manchester United goalkeeper.
