Alonso, Iraiola and Silva – the three coaches on the English giant’s list

News

It is reported that the club has initiated contacts with the candidates’ representatives to understand their willingness and availability.

Among these contacts is the agency that represents both Iraola and Alonso, while Chelsea is following a careful and planned process, where it is said that other names that have not been made public are also being considered.

As for the candidates, Iraola is expected to end his Bournemouth adventure in the summer, Marco Silva is doing well at Fulham, while Xabi Alonso – after a period in the Real Madrid circle and as a mentioned option – continues to attract interest from bigger clubs.

The same report notes that names like Cesc Fabregas and Filipe Luis have failed to make the final Chelsea list.

Rosenior only lasted four months in charge, during which time Chelsea dropped to mid-table, but virtually dashed their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.

Temporarily, the team will be led by Calum McFarlane, while club leaders are looking for a coach with a proven profile to rebuild the team, without making hasty decisions.
