Atletico Madrid and Arsenal meet tonight in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, with both coaches having confirmed their starting lineups for the clash.
Diego Simeone trusts the experience of Koka and Griezmann, while in the offensive department Atletico also starts with Julián Álvarez and Ademola Lookman.
At Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has decided to start from the first minute with a balanced formation, with Odegaard, Zubimendi and Rice in the midfield, while Madueke, Gyökeres and Martinelli are activated in attack.
The two teams have faced each other three times in official matches: in the semi-finals of the 2017/18 Europa League (Atletico advanced) and most recently in this season’s Champions League, where Arsenal won 4-0 in the group stage.
The match will be refereed by Dutchman Danny Makkelie.
