The England national team has been robbed ahead of their World Cup campaign. Ahead of their first training session in Kansas City, where they will prepare for their opening match against Croatia, a large amount of their equipment has been stolen.
The Daily Mail reported that the boots of the team’s biggest stars, official match balls and key training equipment were stolen.
Sources say only one football was found among the remaining equipment, and it is feared that even the boots of key players such as Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham are missing.
The theft occurred while the equipment was being transported from West Palm Beach, Florida, to England’s Swope Soccer Village base in Missouri, where the national team will stay for at least the next three weeks.

A Sky Sports reporter later reported from Kansas City that most of the stolen equipment had been recovered and returned to the English camp.
The drivers are the suspects
This event represents her preparations ahead of the opening World Cup match against Croatia on Wednesday.
The Daily Mail has learned that the insurance company suspects that drivers tasked with transporting the equipment may have been involved in the theft.
England’s staff have packed all the necessary training equipment for the journey from their training camp in Florida to the official World Cup base.
This includes analysis equipment, Tuchel’s tactics boards and massage tables. England and Croatia play on Wednesday at 10pm.
