34-Year-Old Found Dead, Friend Suspected of Murder
The body of 34-year-old Eglant Koçi, who had been reported missing since early June, has been found after days of intensive search efforts.
According to preliminary information, authorities suspect that he was killed and his body was later concealed by a close acquaintance, identified as Armand Shakaj. The victim’s body was located in an area between Tirana and Elbasan.
Special police forces and divers from the RENEA unit were deployed to the scene and are currently working to recover the body and collect evidence that may help fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
