The German Football Association is reportedly pushing for Julian Nagelsmann’s departure following Germany’s disappointing World Cup exit.
However, removing the coach won’t be straightforward, as his contract runs until 2028 and would require the federation to pay a compensation package worth several million euros if he is dismissed.
Nagelsmann has made it clear he has no intention of resigning voluntarily, meaning the federation must decide whether to keep him or pay the hefty cost to end his contract.
