Arsenal football player and Brazilian national team player Gabriel Jesus will be out of action for at least three months due to knee surgery.
Jesus injured his knee in the match against Cameroon (0:1) in the third round of Group G at the World Cup in Qatar.
Alec Teles was also injured in this match, while Neymar is out of the field from the match with Serbia.
The British media state that Jesus is the first replacement for Richarlison, and the Arsenal footballer played 59 games for Brazil and scored 19 goals.
He arrived at Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer transfer window for 52 million euros.
He scored five goals and provided six assists for Arsenal and will have to miss at least 12 of his club’s Premier League games due to knee surgery.
