Milan are continuing their search for a new coach following the departure of Massimiliano Allegri, and one of the latest names to join the list of candidates is Ralf Rangnick.
According to reports from “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, Milan’s leaders are seriously considering the current coach of the Austrian national team to take over the red and black team.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also involved in the process, helping the club select a new coach. The Swede is reported to have met with Rangnick in Vienna to discuss Milan’s sporting project.

The German coach’s contract with the Austrian national team expires after the 2026 World Cup and Milan are said to have offered him a role with more powers, where in addition to the bench he would also have a major influence on the transfer strategy.
This is not the first time Milan have been interested in Rangnick. The Italian club had tried to bring him in 2020, but the deal fell through.
However, according to Italian media, Andoni Iraola remains the favorite for the moment. Oliver Glasner and Xavi Hernandez continue to be on Milan’s wish list.
