After his recent performances, Inter’s management have decided that the Spanish goalkeeper born in 1998 will be the Nerazzurri’s new number 1, thus eliminating the possibility of Guglielmo Vicario.
Yann Sommer has chosen not to remain as second choice and the Nerazzurri are exploring various options for a second goalkeeper.
According to the newspaper Tuttosport , Fiorentina have offered David De Gea to Inter, but the Nerazzurri’s management are not entirely convinced, due to salary and age factors.
The most likely names are Provedel, Kepa and Stankovic.
The Nerazzurri, unsure about De Gea, have begun to evaluate other options. The management would like to pair Martinez with a reliable goalkeeper who can calm the Spaniard without putting him under any further pressure.
The most sought-after names at the moment are Lazio’s Ivan Provedel, Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga and the return of Filip Stankovic.
