The Premier League champions have a big season ahead of them as they aim to defend their title and challenge again in the Champions League.
Arsenal won the Premier League title last month, a week before the end of the season, and then faced Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, where they were ultimately defeated on penalties in Budapest.

According to reports from France, Arsenal have made an approach to sign PSG defender Emmanuel Mbemba on a free transfer.
The French U18 international captains PSG U19s but has yet to make his first-team debut. Despite being offered a professional contract by Paris and the chance to stay in the city with Paris FC, the teenager is expected to leave France to join his first senior club.
Mbemba, who can play as a centre-back or left-back and has won trophies with PSG U19s, is also being tracked by Barcelona, as well as two German Bundesliga sides: Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.

The biggest sticking point for Arsenal is his work permit. Although Mbemba is old enough to sign a professional contract with an English club, he has not played enough first-team football to meet the criteria for working in the UK.
If the move to Arsenal were to materialize, it would be a long-term transfer, while choosing a loan club would be interesting for his development.
