Dani Olmo has boldly predicted that Spain will win the 2026 World Cup, deliberately repeating the prophecy he made before Euro 2024 – when he accurately predicted that Spain would start and finish the tournament in Berlin.
The World Cup is set to begin on June 11 and many predictions have already been made about the eventual winner of the tournament. However, Spain star Olmo believes his national team will go all the way to the World Cup.
“We will start the World Cup in Atlanta and finish it in New York, which is also one of my favorite cities in the United States. That is our objective,” Olmo initially told Mundo Deportivo .

The Barcelona midfielder is convinced that Spain has what it takes, citing the team’s experience from recent tournaments as a decisive factor.
“Nobody wants to face Spain until the final. But that doesn’t worry us. We know what we can do.”
Olmo also dismissed any concerns about players arriving at the tournament with doubts about their physical condition.
“We have time to prepare and when they are ready, they will contribute at the level we all expect,” the Spain star concluded.
