Barcelona Receives Green Light from UEFA to Play at Camp Nou

UEFA has officially approved the use of the Spotify Camp Nou stadium for Champions League matches, following an on-site inspection during Barcelona’s LaLiga game against Alaves on Saturday.

A team of UEFA officials conducted a detailed review of safety procedures, access routes, internal signage, and match-day operations.

The inspection was part of preparations for the club’s first European match in the renovated stadium on December 9, when Barcelona will host Eintracht Frankfurt.

After several hours of inspections and meetings with club executives, UEFA confirmed that all requirements had been fully met.

The approval also includes the designated section for away supporters, ensuring compliance with safety and crowd-management standards.

With this authorization, Barcelona can now confidently prepare for their Champions League return at the revamped Camp Nou.
