Many experts believe that Bayern did the best job in the summer transfer window. In truth, the great Robert Lewandowski left the club, but the Pole was adamant about donning a Barcelona shirt and instead of keeping the disgruntled player, the Bavarians cashed in well for the Polish forward. In doing so, they brought in some phenomenal players. Bayern have signed Matthies Tell, Matthijs de Ligt, Sadio Mane, Ryan Gravenberch and Nusair Mazraoui this summer.
The German media write that Konrad Leimer can be expected to arrive in the coming days, which will probably complete the transfer in the summer. Bayern’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, did a fantastic job this summer, and Germany’s Bild writes that the popular Braco had a lot of help with technology.
Bild reports that Salihamidzic and his team use a computer program that uses various variables and when a player leaves the club, immediately produces a list of players whose profile and salary would match what Bayern are looking for.
