Memphis Depay has opened negotiations with Juventus for a transfer to Turin.
It is still uncertain whether that will happen, due to the last situation we have in this transfer saga.
The media in Spain announced yesterday that Depay is on the verge of a transfer to Juventus, but due to the new situation and the new request of the Dutchman, this may not happen.
Spanish journalist Gerard Romero reported that unexpected problems arose because Depay suddenly changed his story.
The Dutchman agreed on almost the same salary that he receives in Barcelona (6 million), but in the last round of negotiations with his agent and the representatives of Juve, he said that he is asking for 50% more money than what he earns in Barcelona, as much as 9 million euros.
Now, Juventus refuses to allow him this from the start and the matter is “offside”, however, Romero is sure that this misunderstanding will be overcome and that the transfer will still be completed.
