
EARTHQUAKE SHAKES TETOVO–GOSTIVAR REGION DURING THE NIGHT
A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck the Tetovo–Gostivar region shortly after midnight, with tremors felt in Tetovo, Gostivar, and nearby areas.
According to the Seismological Observatory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje, the earthquake was recorded at 12:06 a.m., with its epicenter located in the Tetovo–Gostivar seismic zone.
The quake was felt with an intensity of III on the European Macroseismic Scale, which is considered a weak earthquake that may be noticed by part of the population but does not typically cause any damage.
Authorities said there have been no reports of injuries or material damage so far. Seismologists continue to monitor seismic activity in the region.
