English Giants Begin Talks with Real Madrid for Vini Jr

News

Vinicius Junior could be on his way to the Premier League this summer, following reports of the latest developments regarding his future.

The Real Madrid star has long been in talks to renew his contract with the club, without a final agreement yet being reached.

The current contract expires in 2027, but due to the lack of progress in negotiations, it is reported that Manchester United are among the clubs that intend to take advantage of this situation, preparing a sensational move for the Brazilian.

According to TEAMTalk , Vinicius Jr’s representatives have contacted Manchester United, as well as Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool regarding a potential summer transfer for the 25-year-old.

His agents have also contacted European giants such as Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, who could financially afford such a transfer, while Vinicius is expected to demand a very high salary of around 580,000 euros per week.

Although Vinicius is not set on leaving the 15-time European champions, he is keeping all options open for his future.

Kylian Mbappe is currently the highest-paid player at Real Madrid following his zero-fee transfer in 2024, but Vinicius’ camp is said to be demanding a higher salary for his contract renewal.

Real Madrid’s two stars don’t lose hope of winning the second match against Bayern

In November, The Athletic reported that Real Madrid had offered him a contract worth €20.3 million per year during talks at the end of last season, increasing his annual salary by just under €2.3 million.

However, the player’s side were not happy with this offer and, when the club asked them to propose a figure, they reportedly asked for around €30.2m per year.

Such a contract would represent the most expensive deal in Real Madrid’s history, on par with what five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo earned in his final season before moving to Juventus.
