City’s Norwegian superstar scored two goals as they beat Spanish La Liga side Sevilla 4-0 at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
While Mbappe was the star of the show as his two goals helped PSG secure a 2-1 win over Serie A giants Juventus at the Parc des Princes.
Haaland recorded his 20th Champions League appearance with his 25th goal. He became the youngest player to reach this number at the age of 22 years and 47 days. The previous record? Mbappe at the age of 22 years and 80 days.

It’s clear to see that the two young stars of world football will go head-to-head as they battle to become the best player in the world.
They are the obvious names to take over the legendary debate between Messi and Ronaldo.

At this stage, Mbappe is currently leading in terms of goals scored, as the Frenchman is currently on 217 while Haaland is on 145.
Many fans feel that by signing Haaland, City will finally be able to get their hands on the elusive Champions League trophy.
Although they are undoubtedly two of the biggest stars in football right now, they still have a long way to go if they want to reach the heights that Messi and Ronaldo reached.

The duo has a total of 1588 goals. They have also won a staggering 12 Ballon d’Or awards between them.

Haaland or Mbappe, who will come out on top? Only time will tell.
