Zerbi is expected to be the next Italian coach to work in the Premier League. The 43-year-old left Shakhtar Donetsk in July, as he is described as the perfect successor to Graham Potter on the Brighton bench.

The final agreement between the parties is close and De Zerbi, one of the most promising Italian coaches, is ready to try his first adventure on the island. Brighton have started the new season in the Premier League very well, where they sit in fourth place, two points behind leaders Arsenal after week six.
