Former Danish defender Daniel Agger has led life in a way that is not very typical for a footballer, but he has shown that it is important for him to have something to do even after his career ends.

Agger spent the best days of his career at Liverpool, for whom he played for eight years, then returned to Brondby in the summer of 2014 and was expected to play there for at least another five or six seasons, but that did not happen.
After just two seasons, Agger surprised the football public when he announced his retirement, although he was only 31 at the time and was clearly still in his prime.

However, Agger then stated that his life does not revolve around football and that he has other things he wants to do.
Even while playing in Liverpool he thought about how to invest his money and started several businesses in Denmark, one of which was a complete success and today is his main source of income.

Namely, everyone was shocked when Agger decided in 2013 to found the company “KloAgger”, which deals with the maintenance of public toilets throughout Denmark, and this business really took off in the previous years.

Ager then invested around 600,000 euros in establishing the company and starting this business and it started to pay off. It didn’t take long for him to get his money back, and then his company started making a lot of money.
They concluded several contracts in many cities in Denmark where they take care of public toilets, and as the local media write, Ager has already made a big profit and earned several million from that business.

However, after finishing his career, he devoted himself to other things. He is known to be a big fan of tattoos and there is hardly any space left for new tattoos on his body.

Because of this love, Ager became a tattoo artist himself and often tattoos other people and does it very well.

However, it is clear that he does not want to run away from football either. In addition to all those jobs he started, he decided to get all his licenses and start a coaching career, and today he works in the lower ranks of Danish football.

Ager is currently the coach of the HB Koge team which he took over a little over a year ago. It is his first club in his coaching career and Agger simply wants to try to achieve on that field as well.

Koge competes in the second league of Danish football and after ten rounds is currently seventh in the table with 14 points. In the first season, Ager left this team in the second league, which was the main goal, and it is clear that their appetites have grown and they will try to reach the strongest football rank in Denmark.
