Kane Points Towards Retirement – Shocks Bayern With Contract Talks

News

Harry Kane led Bayern Munich to a convincing 3-0 victory over Stuttgart in the DFB-Pokal final, scoring a spectacular hat-trick and securing the domestic double after also triumphing in the Bundesliga.

After the match, the England captain spoke not only about the trophy he won, but also about his future in Munich.

The striker’s current contract expires in 2027 and, although Bayern want to lock him in with a new deal, Kane made it clear that negotiations will not be easy.

“At this stage of my career I want to get the most out of the contract. This will be one of the last contracts I will sign as a professional footballer,” he declared.

However, the 32-year-old stressed that he is in no hurry to make an immediate decision.

“Now is not the time to talk about this issue. We are very calm about the situation. We agreed to finish the season with the club first and, ideally, play in the World Cup as well,” Kane added.

Despite financial discussions and long-term plans, everything indicates that the cooperation between the parties will continue.

“Both parties are very happy with each other,” the English striker concluded.
