Man City Considering Legal Action Over Haaland Claims

News

Manchester City are reportedly considering legal action after a presidential candidate for Real Madrid made bold claims regarding a move for Erling Haaland.

The controversy began after candidate Enrique Riquelme publicly claimed he would sign Haaland if elected and even presented a Real Madrid shirt with the striker’s name during a television appearance. Manchester City are said to be unhappy with the comments and strongly deny any agreement or release clause.

Haaland’s camp reportedly dismissed the speculation, insisting there are no plans for the striker to leave City anytime soon.

The situation has now created fresh tension between the two clubs, with City considering their options after the public statements surrounding Haaland’s future.
