Manchester City Easily Beat Chelsea – Back in The Title Race

News

Manchester City has secured a convincing victory away to Chelsea, as part of the 32nd round of the Premier League.

The “Citizens” collected all the points with a score of 0-3, a challenge that was very open from the start.

Chelsea started much better, taking risks first with Cole Palmer and then with Joao Pedro, but Gianluigi Donnarumma denied them a goal with a super save.

Chelsea actually found the goal through Marc Cucurella, but it was ruled out for offside.

However, it was Man City who took the lead thanks to Nico O’Reilly who headed in a fantastic cross from Rayan Cherki (51′).

Just six minutes later, Cherki provided another excellent assist – this time to Marc Guehi, who scored to double the lead (57′).

Meanwhile, Jeremy Doku sealed the victory with a goal from close range after a blunder in the home defense (68′).

Man City thus moves to 64 points, six less than Arsenal but has one less game played compared to the Londoners, while Chelsea remains in sixth place with 48.
