Miley Cyrus Reveals Her Fiancé Bought Her Engagement Ring on a Black Friday Discount

American singer Miley Cyrus joked that her fiancé, Maxx Morando, bought her engagement ring during Black Friday sales.

The 33-year-old appeared on an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, where she showed off her engagement ring featuring a cushion-cut diamond.

Miley was first seen wearing the ring publicly at the world premiere of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” in Los Angeles on Monday, December 1. A day later, she officially confirmed the news of her engagement.

During the interview, Jimmy Kimmel congratulated her on the engagement.

“I wonder if you realize that if you waited three weeks, you wouldn’t need ideas for a Christmas gift,” Jimmy teased, while Miley jokingly replied, “It was a Black Friday deal, babe.”

Francesca Simons from Francesca Simons Consulting, representative of jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche, confirmed to People magazine that Aiche designed the custom ring, which features a cushion-cut diamond set on a thick 14-karat yellow gold band.

Daniela Tarantino, vice president of sales at Blue Nile, estimates the ring could be worth up to $450,000 (approx. €386,000). “This engagement ring is a thick gold band with an east-west setting — a modern, stylish trend in the wedding industry. We believe the diamond is around four or five carats and costs between $300,000 and $450,000,” Tarantino said.

Reyne Hirsch, brand ambassador for Worthy and former appraiser on Antiques Roadshow, estimates the retail value to be between $150,000 and $250,000 (approx. €128,000–€214,000).

Miley Cyrus, a three-time Grammy winner, and Maxx Morando went public with their relationship in December 2021 when they were first photographed together in Miami. A few months later, in April 2022, they confirmed their romance after being spotted kissing passionately in Hollywood.
