Two days before the semi-final meeting of the World Cup against Morocco, Aurelien Choameny and Dayot Upamecano did not appear at the training of the French national team. The French Football Federation has not officially spoken about the reasons for their absence from training, nor has head coach Didier Deschamps explained anything further on this topic.

But L’Equipe revealed that Upamecano has a sore throat, while Chuameni suffered a knock in the quarter-final match against England that is bothering him. It can be assumed that both will be ready for the match against Morocco which is played on Wednesday starting at 20:00.

The French have had a lot of injury problems in the run-up to this World Cup, and have been without a number of very important players in their squad, from Benzema and Kante to Pogba, Nkunku and Kimpembe. Right at the start of the championship, Lucas Hernandez was injured. At the current World Cup, France is defending the title of world champion, and four years ago in the final they defeated Croatia with 4:2.
