Aurélien Tchouaméni has spoken publicly for the first time about his altercation with Federico Valverde, firmly denying reports that he punched his Real Madrid teammate.
The French midfielder admitted there was an incident between the pair but insisted many of the stories that emerged afterward were exaggerated. He stressed that he never struck Valverde and that the situation had been blown out of proportion.
Tchouaméni also revealed that the issue has been resolved internally, adding that both players share the same goal of winning trophies with Real Madrid and that there are no longer any problems between them.
