New Manchester United coach Erik ten Haag has written off two more players.
As reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Eric ten Haag will rely on Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia this season. Under those conditions, Brazilian Alex Teles will be removed from the team. Sevilla seem to be the favorites to buy the player at the moment.
However, there is one problem standing in the way: his very high salary at United, which Sevilla cannot afford.
Porto, the club from which Telles was brought to United in 2020 for €15m, said they were not interested in the player despite reports in international newspapers.
Also, another player leaving Manchester United is right back Ethan Laird. Erik ten Haag highly appreciates the footballer, but believes that a loan would be much better for the player, due to his development.
Ethan Laird’s most likely loan move is Championship side Watford, who were recently relegated from the Premier League.
