The “974” stadium closes its doors, the dismantling of the stadium begins

One of the most special stadiums in Qatar was undoubtedly the “974”.

So named because it was built from 974 containers and also, 974 is also the telephone code for Qatar.

On Monday evening, on December 5, the last scheduled match, Brazil – South Korea, took place in this facility.

Today, the stadium, which is located in Doha and has a capacity of up to 44,089 spectators, will be decommissioned and its dismantling will begin.

At the moment there is no exact idea where it will be sent, but Qatari sources have indicated that it will be sent to countries that need infrastructure.
