The players and coaching staff sang a controversial fan song insulting their big rivals Brazil and England.

The Brazilians are laughed at because of their elimination in the quarter-finals by Croatia, and they attack the English by mentioning the Falkland Islands, because of which the United Kingdom army carried out a military invasion in 1982 and entered into a several-day war with Argentina.

One of the most experienced internationals, Nicolas Otamendi, posted on his Instagram account a video of the celebration in the dressing room, in which the players and coaches jump and sing the song that is popular among their fans.

“What Brazilians, crumpled five-time world champions”, are the words of the song with which the Argentines mock the Cariocas, who were the main favorites for the title, but were eliminated in the quarter-finals.

The footballers then sang the lyrics of a song insulting the English because of the war over the Falkland Islands, which Argentinians call Islas Malvinas.
“Englishmen, from the Islas Malvinas.”
