The debate is eternal and, although comparing different players who played in different eras is always unfair, the English magazine “Four Four Two” has decided to create a ranking where it places the 100 best players of all time. And according to her, the best player of all time is the Argentinian Lionel Messi.

The former Barca player, currently part of PSG, takes the first place before the other legendary Argentine, Diego Armando Maradona, while Cristiano Ronaldo appears in third place.
The magazine explains that “after weeks of trying to reduce all male footballers to a list of 100, we at FourFourTwo are now realizing just how absurd it can be. The selection of the best becomes even more difficult and puzzling, almost impossible, when you realize how many outstanding footballers have played throughout the history of football on all continents and for decades.”
