Paris Saint-Germain are keen to finally offload a number of players this summer as new manager Christophe Galtier continues to put his stamp on the squad at the Parc des Princes.
To push the players away, they threaten to send them to play in the fifth division of French football with their second team.
Ander Herrera, Layvin Kurzawa, Julian Draxler, Rafinha, Thilo Kehrer, Idrissa Gueye and Mauro Icardi are all on the list of players PSG hope to offload before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
According to L’Equipe, PSG are warning the aforementioned individuals that they could end up in the fifth tier if they continue and refuse to leave, while media outlet Le Parisien label them “undesirables”.
PSG wants to force players to leave
New sporting director Luis Campos is thought to be keen to force out unwanted players and each of them is on the verge of the first team.
Despite this, they are training away from the first team while going about the rest of their daily routine as never before, including eating meals with the rest of the team.
If a solution is not found before September 1, they will face spending the season in Paris.
