The incident took place in Utrecht, around three o’clock in the morning, and it was the police who alerted the firefighters, who intervened immediately.

Investigations into the event have already started and in particular the footage taken by the cameras will be reviewed.

Just a few days ago, the car of Ihattaren’s brother, Jasir, was also burned, for still unclear reasons.

According to “De Telegraaf”, the player has been facing threats from criminal circles for some time, for which the police have started investigations.

In early August, Ihattaren made headlines due to threats he received from some members of the Mocro mafia (Moroccan mafia), which has been operating for years between the Netherlands and Belgium.

Born in 2002, Mohamed Ihattaren is regarded as one of the biggest talents of recent years in Dutch football, but his career has so far been plagued by a series of problems that have prevented him from excelling on the pitch.

Bought by Juventus in the summer of 2021, he was loaned to Sampdoria until January 2022, but did not play a single game. On 1 April he returned to the pitch with Ajax’s youth jersey almost a year after his last appearance. This season, he did not come down to the field.
