Bournemouth only made it to the Premier League last season, after the English club finished second in the Championship. In fact, the Premier League adventure had started in the right way as Bournemouth won the first leg at home to Aston Villa 2-0, but then came three defeats, against the three Premier League contenders.

In the second match they defeated Man City at the Etihad Stadium with the result 4-0, while at home they suffered another defeat against Arsenal with the result 0-3 to then arrive at the devastating 9-0 defeat against Liverpool.

Parker was part of Tottenham U18s as a manager and then his career took off after taking charge of Fulham, which he held for 853 days. The Englishman managed Fulham in 105 games, while Bournemouth managed him for 55 games, where the biggest success was the team’s return to the Premier League. Scott Parker becomes the first manager to be sacked for the 2022-2023 Premier League season.
