127 fans have been killed and more than 180 injured after a riot broke out at the Indonesian soccer championship.

After the match between Arema FC and Persebaya Surabaya on Saturday night, riots broke out between the fans and the police.

It has been reported that at least 127 football fans have died so far after the riots in Indonesia.

Multiple local media reported the number, which rose throughout the evening, of fans who died on the pitch at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang following a pitch invasion at the end of the match. Many others were rushed to the local Kanjuruhan Hospital and Wawa Khusada Hospital
