Paris Saint-Germain has closed the first half with a lead against Nice, in the match that is being played within the ninth week in Ligue 1.
The reigning champions started the match furiously, creating good scoring chances but only converting once.
The lone goal was scored by none other than Lionel Messi, leaving Nice’s goalkeeper stunned and desperate to at least touch the ball.
Kasper Schimechel saw the ball in the 29th minute as it slotted into the net from the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner’s perfect free-kick.
The Argentine currently has five goals and seven assists so far this season and is showing fantastic form.
There will probably be goals in the second 45 minutes, but this free kick deserves to be watched several times.
