Antoine Griezmann will continue his career at Atletico Madrid. The confirmation came from Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona, the club that owns the card of the French attacker. As the Spanish press reported a few days ago, the 31-year-old will continue to be under the orders of Diego Simeone until 2026.
“The agreed figure is 20 million euros fixed, plus 4 million as easily accessible bonuses. We were afraid that if we went to trial, the case would take a long time. If he were to return to Barcelona after the World Cup, we would be obliged to guarantee him another 36 million euros in wages.
