Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Manchester United have almost completed the signing of midfielder Ederson from Atalanta.
The midfielder arrives at Old Trafford as United look to strengthen their midfield following the departure of Casemiro this summer.
“Manchester United and Atalanta have completed all the paperwork for the €45 million deal for Ederson,” Romano initially wrote.
“Everything has been done and the player is ready to sign later this summer, but everyone has been in agreement with Ederson since May.”
“First signing: 100% confirmed,” concluded the transfer expert.
United are expected to make more signings in midfield, as Ederson is seen as an alternative to Manuel Ugarte.
