In England, a 25-meter-tall Christmas tree made of 100,000 balloons is raised
A hotel in England has unveiled a unique festive decoration: a 25-meter-tall Christmas tree built entirely from 100,000 balloons.
The balloon Christmas tree, installed outside Moor Hall Hotel and Spa in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, consists of 100,000 balloons and is covered by a transparent dome to protect them from bursting.
Naomi Spencer, a balloon artist and owner of Balloon Color Blending, created the tree as a way to raise money for charity.
“This has never been done before in the UK. People don’t realize the scale of building a Christmas tree out of balloons,” Spencer said.
“We had a large team — we had a design team,” she added.
“We put together 100,000 balloons to create something magical.”
