According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Manuel Ugarte, Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee are among the players that Manchester United could offer Milan in a player + cash deal to secure the services of Rafael Leao.
Milan are open to listening to offers for the Portuguese winger during the summer, while Gazzetta confirms that Manchester United are among the clubs interested in the Rossoneri star.
Tuttosport newspaper reported last week that Red Devils scouts had closely followed Leao in a Serie A match against Juventus, where the Portuguese footballer was booed again by some of his own fans.
Leao has a €175m release clause in his contract, but Gazzetta reports that Milan’s management are willing to start negotiations at €50m.
The Rossoneri have planned to sell Leao for a cash offer only, but Manchester United could attempt to further reduce the financial demand by including a player in the deal.
According to Gazzetta, Manchester United are open to including Ugarte, Rashford or Zirkzee in negotiations. The report adds that United’s priority target for the left-back is Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, but the 23-year-old would cost around €100m in the summer, roughly double the amount that would be asked for Leao.
Rashford is currently on loan at Barcelona, but it remains unclear whether the Catalans will activate their €30m purchase option at the end of the season.

Milan had held talks with Rashford during the January 2025 transfer window, while Zirkzee had been one of the club’s targets a year earlier, before the Dutchman left Bologna for Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Milan are expected to reshape their attacking department in the summer transfer window and, according to Gazzetta, Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth is at the top of the Italian club’s shopping list.
